Internet Explorer is having trouble and needs to close. ..

Microsoft Outlook: How to Fix an Error that Keeps Happening In this article, I will go through several ways you can try to fix this same error for Microsoft Outlook! It may look something like this:

  1. Try refreshing your outlook.com account. This will usually fix the issue.
  2. Try changing your password. This will usually fix the issue.
  3. Try using a different email address for your outlook account. This will usually fix the issue.

Outlook is crashing all the time. I’ve tried different things and it still keeps happening. Can you help me fix this?

  1. Reset your computer
  2. Reset your phone
  3. Reset your settings
  4. Try a different browser

If Outlook won’t start properly or you get an error message when trying to open it, be sure to check out my other posts for tips. ..

Method 1 – Install Windows and Office updates

  1. Install all the latest Windows updates and the latest Office updates.
  2. Install all the latest security patches.
  3. Use a firewall to protect your computer from unauthorized access to the internet and other online resources.

If you have Outlook with Business Contact Manager, make sure to install the service packs for that also. This probably won’t solve your issue, but it’s worth a shot.

Method 2 – Delete and recreate email account

If you have an Outlook email account and the email is not being sent to the address you set up in your account settings, you can try to delete the account by going to Tools and then Email Accounts.

Remove or Delete from my email account

Outlook is a popular email program and it should be able to resolve your issue.

Method 3 – Start Outlook without add-ons

If you have Adobe Professional installed, it may try to install a new PDF add-on called “Adobe PDF” even if there are no other Office programs installed.

If you have an Outlook add-on installed, uninstall it and see if the problem goes away. If you have an antivirus program installed, it may also install an add-on to Outlook. Other add-ons like spam filters could also be causing the issue. ..

If you’re having problems with add-ons, it may be helpful to start Outlook without any add-ons. This will help to remove any potential issues that may be causing the problem.

msconfig This will open the System Configuration utility. In the System Configuration utility, click on the Advanced tab, and then under Performance Options, click on the Settings button. Under the General section, you will see a setting called “Use advanced performance settings”. If this setting is enabled, it will allow you to use more powerful performance options. If this setting is disabled, less powerful options will be used. If you want to use more powerful performance options, you should enable this setting. ..

If Outlook doesn’t solve your problem, then you may need to enable or disable add-ins to fix it. To do this, go to File, Options and then click on Add-ins.

In Outlook, you can disable add-ins by going to the Tools, Trust Center and then clicking on Add-ins.

Method 4 – Uninstall any new software

You can also get this error in Outlook by installing some other third party software on your computer. For example, if you recently installed a new toolbar for IE, uninstall it.

If you recently updated to a new version of IE, it may be best to revert back to an older version of IE. Sometimes other programs that are not related to Outlook can cause this error to appear.

Method 5 – Find the corrupt email and delete it

If you’re having trouble opening or reading specific emails in your Outlook Inbox, it may be because they’re crashing the program. This has happened to me many times and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s because I have a specific email that’s causing the issue? Or maybe it’s just a coincidence but every time I try to open an email, Outlook crashes and closes without warning.

If you find an email or emails that cause Outlook to crash, please try to fix them as soon as possible. This is very rare, but it can happen and it can be frustrating to figure out how to do so.

I suggest you click on the first email and arrow down through emails slowly until you reach the corrupt one.

Method 6 – Replace msmapi32.dll with an older version

Some people have sworn that by replacing this file with a different version, their problem has gone away. However, this is more complicated as there are many versions of this file around and you have to figure out which one will actually work.

It is best to simply copy the one you have currently to a different location and then try out various versions of this file.

The Microsoft SMAPI32 driver is a required component for many Windows operating systems. If you cannot find the driver on your computer, you can download it from Microsoft’s website.

Method 7 – Delete or rename auto-complete data file

If you’re still having trouble, you can try deleting the auto-complete history file by following these steps:

  1. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder where your auto-complete history file is located.
  2. Right-click on the file and select Delete.
  3. If you’re prompted to confirm your decision, click Yes. ..

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion In this directory you will find a file called “UserData.dat”. Open UserData.dat and copy the following text into it: Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (version 1709) - User Data

Outlook will automatically recreate the file if it is not found with the .NK2 extension. If the file does not exist, it will create it and hopefully be error free.

That’s about it! If your Outlook error persists, you can try to uninstall Outlook and reinstall it and see if that works. Other than that though, one of the above methods should fix your Outlook error! If not, post a comment and I’ll try to help! Enjoy!
