New Pinned Comment Feature on Instagram
With the new pinned comment feature on Instagram, authors of a post will be able to pin three comments of their choice that will show up on top of the thread. This feature is actually good in a way that will help the author to highlight the positive comments on top. The pinned comment feature was already being tested in May and is now out in a stable update for all the users on Instagram. In a Tweet, Instagram said, “Today we’re rolling out pinned comments everywhere. That means you can pin a few comments on the top of your feed post and better manage the conversation.”
How to Use the Pinned Comment Feature by Instagram
To pin your favorite comment, long press on the comment you want to pin or swipe left based on the device you use. Then, you will see the icons that will be representing pin, report, delete and reply to the comments. Press on the pin icon, you will see a notification that reads, “Pin up to 3 comments to show them at the top of your post and highlight positivity. When you pin a comment, we’ll notify the person who wrote it.” Tap on Pin Comment and you can successfully pin a comment. You can also repeat the same process if you want to pin more comments.
